Recipe for Mini Tarts with ZERO Jam

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 200 g of flour
  • 100 g of cold butter
  • 50 g of powdered sugar (or substitute with a sugar alternative if you want a lighter version)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2–3 tbsp of cold water

For the filling:

  • 150 g of ZERO jam (e.g., from berries or any other favorite flavor)

Preparation

  1. Prepare the dough
    В купа смесете брашното и пудрата захар. Нарежете студеното масло на кубчета и го добавете към брашното. Сложете маслото в брашното и разтрийте с пръсти, докато сместа прилича на трохи.
  2. Add the egg yolk and cold water, mix quickly, and form a dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Shaping the tarts:
    Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 3 mm thickness. Cut out circles slightly larger than your tart molds.
  4. Place the dough into the molds, gently press it against the sides, and trim the excess. Prick the bottom with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during baking
  5. Bake the tarts for 12–15 minutes until golden
  6. Once cooled, fill each mini tart with ZERO jam.

Tip:

You can add a little grated lemon zest or a pinch of cinnamon to the dough for extra flavor.
